Description
I think this is the Velvet Shank (Flammulina velutipes), but I have no expertise in mushrooms. I love the way the caps shine like honey-glazed donuts. Though, how backbreaking it is to lie on your neighbours' cold porch stones in late November, freezing your legs and stomach, trying to shoot a mushroom at ground level!
